Job Description

1. To handle the team responsible for local & import scheduling
2. To ensure timely material availability & no line stoppage
3. Monthly short & long term scheduling based on customer forecast
4. Tracking of shipments, monitoring of schedule vs. compliance & vendor rating
5. Prepare MIS to foresee projected Inventory of imported and local parts based on transit material & schedule w.r.t Budget
6. Control Premium Freight within norms
7. Freight cost control, Duty FTA saving to ensure Log transit damage & its charge back
8. Contract finalization with Freight Forwarder & CHA, Monitoring of actual cost for each shipment w.r.t contract & freight budget. Saving by Reduction Inward Freight as per set target
9. Liasoning for Customs related matters, CHA & freight forwarder matters
10. Ensure timely availability of new launch material & export shipment of new development samples
11. Other duties assigned by management
