Implement future actions using problem solving methodologies Seven QC tools, 8-D, etc.,
Pro/Cert co-ordination and management
o Coordination of Procert activities at supplier and a BW factory
o Reporting of Procert to WHQ and BIS Asia MGMT
o Provide training to teams on Procert process
Provide support and resolve customer turn backs related to product and process.
Review the conditions of field returned defective parts to decide appropriate disposition action in the form of scrap, rework or return to supplier for defect investigation and communicate the necessary information to respective work functions based on Root Cause Analysis and to initiate Corrective and preventive actions.
Record the relevant data of field returned defective parts for further processing.
Prepare periodic product issues (Field Turn backs) dash board containing details of defect age distribution vs. status, backlog trends, Inflow vs. outflow, Aging, Top turn backs, Extracting the excel reports, etc.,
Carry out necessary supplier site visits to comply with the below two objectives.
Monitoring the health of Factory (MFG & SCM) supplies.
Comprehension of turn backs and Evaluation / Implementation of effective and feasible solutions for the turn backs.
Create and release Corrective Instructions / Product Upgrade Instruction, Technical Information Publication.
Ensure that all applicable quality documents / records are archived according to retention period.
Possess a Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in a large scale Engineering industry.
Good Communication skill.
Black belt in 6 Sigma
Should comply with three business absolutes Ethics, Safety and internal Controls.
Should have independently handled the Product Improvement function.
Strong experience in leading a team of technical professionals.
Experience in ISO 9001 standards and facilitating continuous improvement using formal quality methodology and tools
