Reports To: Head - Supply Chain Service Excellence
Job Purpose Statement:
1.Providing leadership in program managing events related to Supply chain readiness such as new category launches, new facility launches, benchmarking studies, data management etc., thereby ensuring coordinated execution of such events.
2.Identify and design programs based on business goals, priorities and risks while gaining team commitment to the achievement of the required results.
3.Leveraging process excellence and project management techniques to enable design and institutionalization of frameworks and workflows for standard events.
4.Work closely with external (e.g. retail, marketing) and internal (e.g. operations, Operations development) stakeholders and ensure alignment of all relevant stakeholders
5.Develop clear and consistent communication mechanism with all relevant stakeholders.
1.Develop and maintain an expert knowledge base of the business and operations together with knowledge of the business environment, project & workflow management methodologies and tools.
2.Act as a subject matter expert on non-supply chain processes to influence decisions related to projects being driven by business. Provided performance focused leadership.
3.Develop frameworks to manage the different type of events/ projects
4.Meet the project execution goals as defined in the strategic priorities of the business.
5.Successfully lead a team of high performing individuals to achieve the organizational goals.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Knowledge :
1.Degree or professional qualification in management with specialization in Project management.
2.Looking for people only with "Retail background" who has been involved in product launches
3.At least 10 to 12 years of experience
4.Demonstrated skill in driving business priorities with understanding of financial impact.
5.Good judgment and reasoning ability. Exceptional interpersonal skills.
6.Creative thinker with the ability to recognize improvement opportunities. Experience of developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
7.Experience of developing and implementing measurement systems, processes and procedures for complex situations.
8.Experience of managing complex projects from initiation through to implementation.
9.In depth understanding of the structure and inter-dependencies of a complex and large organization with extended exposure to senior management in past jobs.
