Roles and Responsibilities
Test Management and Delivery (Monthly Releases / Projects)
Performing/ monitoring functional and technical test execution activities as per Business Solutions HRSSC engagement in the test project.
Accountable for assigned project deliverables, including accurate test reporting to the unit manager/ stakeholders/ unit head.
Preparing test strategy scripts and completing UAT for all the scoped changes for the particular release/ project/ HR initiatives.
Managing test projects by working closely with the application team/ requestors to understand project requirements.
Planning, analyzing, designing, developing, and executing test cases (where applicable).
Identifying test environment requirements and liaising (and coordinate) with staff who extend testing support.
Task planning/scheduling and allocation of tasks to testers, and ensuring work is completed according to the test schedule.
Facilitating problem resolution and verifying fixes received from the application team.
Conducting reviews and inspections of project deliverables (eg. FS, system test results, etc.) and providing feedback.
Assisting the unit manager in managing day-to-day testing activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting.
Assisting the unit manager in performing test estimation for small or tiny projects.
Following the test process and continuously improving the quality of the test process, along with the project progress
Participating in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality.
Ensuring the quality and timeliness of delivery of testing assignments.
Bug Fixes for HR systems
o Collating, reviewing and monitoring all bug fixes related to the HRMS systems.
o Identifying trends and proposing long lasting solutions, hand in hand with technology.
