Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing the complete payroll and related portfolio including Payroll, Retirals, Benefits, Statutory Compliance and contractual staff management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain an accurate and efficient payroll procedure for employees
o Generate a defect free payroll
o Design, document and implement policies on flexi payments
Process bills for employee reimbursements
Resolve all employee queries related to fixed pay and flexi policies
Statutory compliance
o Ensure compliance in Tax and PF related matters
o Complete formation of Pension and Gratuity trusts, and ensure their proper functioning
o Manage tax vendors
o Initiate help desk through vendors
o Liaise with Auditors/ Tax consultant to keep abreast with relevant laws and incorporating it in the system
Design and implement employee communication plan
o Develop, update and automate Employee Handbook
o Maintain regular formal communication with employees
Monthly with field
Monthly with HO staff
o Communicate changes in the personnel policies, benefits and law to the employees
o Personally clarify issues and answer queries about such issues from employees
Partner with IT, HR technology in implementing and maintaining the Payroll module in the HRIS system
o Automate the Personnel and Administration function
o Generate reports on data as required for decisions
o Generate employee related MIS
Managing contractual staff related items
o Create and implement the approval process for contractual staff hiring
o Prepare and share dashboards and MIS on a periodic basis
o Ensure adherence to all statutory and compliance requirements
o Prepare, circulate and reinforce guidelines on management of contractual staff including Dos and Donts
o Partner with Finance to create a robust payment process to all vendors
o Model for reconciliation of compliance, salary and other items on a monthly basis
Comprehensive dashboards and MIS
o Monthly payroll and headcount related
o Exit and new joinees monthly

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

a. Management graduate/ Graduate with 5-6 years of relevant experience
