We are hiring for Assistant Manager role in Fincaial Reporting/ XBRL Reporting for a leading Big 4 Audit firm.
Chartered Accountants with good understanding of XBRL Reporting with good team handelling experiance.
Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Perform high quality tagging in accordance with tagging rules and accounting concepts.
Clearly and accurately document the observations noted and discrepancies identified during the tagging process.
Stay informed of updates from HMRC/ filing authorities relevant to the client's business.
Develop in-depth understanding of tagging tools & taxonomies to enhance efficiencies and quality of tagged accounts.
Obtain thorough understanding of the financial statements before applying tags and communicate potential issues to the Senior.
Collaborate with and engagement team members to set goals and responsibilities.
Deliver work in line with designated methodology, project plan or process in line with companies standards.
Demonstrate professionalism, competence and clarity of communication when dealing with the engagement team.
Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to engagement team requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with the team contacts.
Where appropriate, challenge tagging process used in base-filings by the team and attempt to enhance tagging quality.
Compare efficiency of tagging process performed across different clients and suggest ideas for improvement.
Develop people through teamwork, integrity, and leadership.
Contribute ideas/opinions to the engagement teams and listen/respond to other team members' views.
Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
Promote companys ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality, especially when dealing with outsiders.
Experiance: 3+ years post qualification
Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountants only.
