Position: Area Sales Manager
Role description :
The role will be the custodian for all sales & distribution initiatives in the assigned area. The incumbent would need to oversee the planning & execution of channel sales in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for channel sales via general trade
- Overall Value/Volume target achievement for the value business in the assigned area
- Building distribution infrastructure in the assigned area
- Formation of frontline sales team - recruitment of Supervisors, promoters
- Development of frontline in the assigned area
- Contribute towards achieving penetration and share objectives
- Manage regular reviews, systems and processes with the frontline & distributors.
- Ensure Sales Processes in line with company intent
- Continuously engage with and enhance capability of the Value GTM team through training interventions
- Ensuring continuous focus and senior management support across organization during the entire journey
Experience & Qualification :
- MBA (Sales & Marketing) from Tier 1 institute with 1 - 2 years of experience in the FMCG/F&B sector
