Job Description


ABM shall be a part of Business Development Team, reporting to ZBM. The person shall be located in one of cities of key states (having Agri Mandi). ABM is a Team Player, initially supports to State Business Manager (SBMs).


1. Ability to explore new business development opportunities in organized and unorganized sectors.
2. Should be adept at managing relationships with leading traders.
3. Conceive & conduct trader & mandi specific BTL activities to build portfolio.
4. Work with speed and flexibility.
5. Achieving warehouse wise profitability by ensuring high/100% occupancy levels. Acting on non performing warehouses &advise on DE-hiring them
6. Mapping client base, identify business development opportunities
7. Setting & managing client expectations
8. Coordinate with operations team to ensure smooth fulfillment of client business.
9. Dealing with corporates, traders, banks, exchanges & government for business expansion.
10. Timely & quality reporting
11. Market intelligence - Competition mapping on regular basis, understanding industry best practices, proactive ambush strategy to counter competition.

2. Ability to understand area crop pattern.
Need to travel for 15-18 days

Qualification & Experience

Graduate, preferably master degree in management, agri function etc.

2-4 years experience in agri-based business viz. Agri-banking, seeds., fertilizers, agri-trader driven products in large mandis.
