* Responsible for maximizing topline and bottomline for Apparels category
* Drives Business growth and Market Share of the Category with strong product, competition and consumer analytics
* Handle Buying & Merchandising for the category.
* Identify High Potential Sellers and consolidate seller base. Develop Promotions to support and scale the sales level of the market places
* Daily Relationship Management activities with top sellers to drive their listings, monitor their operations and revenue growth. Indulge into high level of negotiations.
* Highly responsible for Shelf Management of the Category
* Identify Buyer Needs using Various MIS, trends in the industry through the depth in various sub categories on various market places.
* Analyze and prepare regular Category Performance reports.
Qualifications / Experience
* Graduate in any stream,
* 9 - 15 yrs of relevant category management and buying experience in Apparels industry
* Prior experience managing relations with suppliers, distributors and / or manufacturers
* Ability to influence others and gain support from stakeholders
* Strong negotiator, collaborator and team player
* High on initiative and takes ownership
