Educational Qualification:Mechanical Engineer with MBA


18-20 years in actual procurement and 5-7 years of actual Managing a department.

Role Purpose:

To ensure timely, cost effective and efficient procurement of Engineering Materials

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and Strategising:

Understand the procurement strategy for all materials for the organization and support achievement of business objectives. Understand long term and short term plans for the RMPM procurement team. Also strategising on All India Logistics.

Policy and Process Design, Implementation and Review:

Responsible for implementation of best practices in procurement of materials and services for Oleo / PCP India operations, vendor management, transaction processing and delivery management.

Responsible for managing resources for purchasing (materials and services) and materials management for Oleo / PCP Operations in India.

Ensure periodic revision of Inventory norms for Plants in India based on changing business scenarios and implementation of the same.

Coordination, Interface, Imparting Training:

Responsible for vendor management - managing relationships, resolving issues and developing new vendors for Operations in India.

Provide inputs for Annual Business Planning processes.

Infrastructure and Technology Investment and Management:

Ensuring accuracy and timelines of procurement related data in the ERP system for Operations in India.
