Job Description

Division / Business Unit: Auto ancillary

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible For monitors the competitive environment to identify market trends, business threats and opportunities and develops plans to address them.

Roles and Responsibilities

Reports on the company's performance and is accountable to the GM for the overall performance.
Performs the GMs responsibilities when the GM is absent/or on vacation and cannot perform them.
Supports the GM in the development and update of the company's yearly strategic plan and budget.
Leads, directs and controls all aspects of the company's day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance with the strategy and objectives defined by the GM and the Board of Directors.
Develops and supervises the implementation of operational policies and procedures supporting the company's stated strategies and objectives.
Monitors the performance of the company's different departments and units against targets in areas such as revenues, productivity, quality, timeliness, controls and cost efficiency.
Analyzes the operational results and recommends any necessary changes, considering such factors as current and projected business opportunities, competition, revenue and profitability.
Ensures efficient utilization of the manpower, equipment and other resources in an effort to increase revenues, profitability and lower costs.
Reviews operational records and reports and refers to manuals, company instructions, and government regulations to detect deviations from operational practices and prepares directives and corrective actions to eliminate such infractions.
Retains overall accountability of the success or failure of the Business Unit; however may be delegating several responsibilities to the senior staff members who manage the activities of various departments and implement the organizations policies on a day-to-day basis.
Responsible for the overall performance of the department functions, such as marketing, sales, quality control, HSE, human resources, purchasing, finance and property management.
