Job Description

The Role

The SEO Account Manager role is the third level role within our team, this role brings full manager remit and responsibility.

You will support the Account Director on managing one of our largest global clients which is arguably the most technically advanced website globally. This role requires an experienced technical SEO who not only has deep technical knowledge but is able to manage client expectations, have strong project management skills and is able to manage direct reports to ensure leading SEO projects are delivered to time and to brief.

Client contact will be direct and you will be expected to build and develop advanced client servicing skills and strong client relationships.

Knowledge and skills development will still be a focus but at a more strategic level, while imparting your knowledge on other team members will also be expected.

You will directly manage one report and will be required to develop them as individuals and within their role, while supervising and providing guidance on their work.

Client Servicing

Account Management

Provide technical recommendations
Provide consultancy on technical updates and changes within a variety of search engines.

Execute competitor and market analysis

Perform detailed technical and content audits and create recommendations

Within this role there will be a direct people management of one report. While previous people management experience is not essential it is most certainly desirable.

Experience:

3-5 years SEO experience.

Knowledge

Strong knowledge of how PPC and SEO integrate
Strong knowledge of where Search fits within the larger marketing mix
Strong knowledge of Analytics packages such as Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends
Knowledge of programming languages (ideal but not required)
Strong knowledge of link building techniques
Strong knowledge of 3rd party tools
GAIQ, GCP Fundamentals & Advanced Exams
Other languages a benefit but not required
