Job Description

Telecommunications and IT service models and their practical application
12 to 14 Years of experience in Telecom Service Provider / System Integrators
6+ years experience in people management.
ITIL Fondation level qualified
Business processes design and documentation
Experience in escalation of incidents to, and in driving incident resolution with, technology vendors / OLO / Third party suppliers .
Broad experience of continuous: Process, Systems, and Capability improvements
Engineering Degree or equivalent. MBA preferable .
CCCIE Routing and Switching LAB Certified .
High technical troubleshooting knowledge in IP Networks
High Technical knowledge in troubleshooting complex issues in Cisco Routers, switches and Alcatel routers .
Good understanding on Submarine cable systems.
Maintenance of team interactions pertaining to performance, areas of improvement and feedback in addition to updating career goals &personal development plans of team members followed by review &update.
Ensure management & escalation of critical situations and update stakeholders on sensitive incidents for smooth functioning of operations.
Desired Profile
The Manager Tech Primes is responsible for new product on-boarding, new customer on-boarding and technical training to colleagues.
The Manager Tech primes is responsible for producing dashboard with respect to operational performance on weekly and monthly basis.
Accountability for both individual and team performance management, including quality capture and assessment Responsibility for team motivation and incentives .Responsibility for colleague satisfaction .Carry out Training Needs Analysis for team members
Identify and carry out coaching requirements. Identify career development opportunities and provide support for team members Ensure that formal monthly 1-2-1s are carried out and documented
Ensure that Performance Dialogue Management is followed. Ensure that Succession Planning is in place and regularly reviewed
Ensure that communication plan is adhered to Facilitation in team meetings .Escalation Management at Level 1 Support the implementation of new products and services
Provide evidence and feedback for Carrier Relations on 3rd party performance Work with internal resolving agencies to support and also improve services .Work with other members of CFO and the business to ensure that best practices shared and followed
Ensure that HR policies and procedures are adhered to at all times .Ensure that Attendance Management guidelines are followed at all times
Ensure that Health and Safety guidelines are followed
Follow NWOM principles and guidelines
Act as Deputy in absence of Sector Lead
Undertake any adhoc duties requested by Line Manager
