Job Description

Requirements:
A minimum of 12-20 years of development experience with a minimum of 3 years on the core technical architect team for an Java/J2EE based Enterprise Applications
Experience designing Scalable, maintainable and Service-able Enterprise Applications
Experience developing Applications that support SaaS concept including CI
Experience leading re-architecture efforts for legacy Frameworks is highly desirable
Experience with UI Frameworks is highly desirable
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environment
Strong analytical skills
Job Profile:
Own the technical architecture and framework of the assigned products.
Ensure all new development adheres to the architectural guidelines by performing design and code reviews.
Evaluate technology options for major development and platform upgrades.
Evaluate alternatives for cost-reduction with the use of open source components.
Understand business needs and suggest new technical solutions to stay ahead of competition.
Own the performance and scalability of the assigned products.
Evaluate and recommend tools and processes to monitor and improve development efficiency and quality.
Own third party components used in the application and their licensing implications.
Ensure the product design meets security benchmarks by evaluating and processing the results of vulnerability threat assessments conducted internally and externally.
Support the professional services team to review the integration and customization architecture for specific clients.
Act as subject matter expert for other team members on the product being developed.
Possess a can-do attitude to balance work volume, set limits, and project deadlines, while prioritizing to maintain and deliver quality work.
Contribute to technology roadmap based on platform version upgrades.
Work with Director of Engineering to build business case for refactoring needs and technology upgrades.
Mentor, guide, and coach the development team on technical subjects. .
Support cross-functional teams on such as RFP responses and sales sessions with prospects on technical architecture related aspects.
Support the applications management team by reviewing deployment architecture and procedures.
Assist management in recruitment and team building activities.
