In-depth involvement in the Semiconductor Service Line/Technology. Interact closely with senior attorneys at leading semiconductor companies to identify and understand projects and opportunities. Broad technical base/interest and ability to learn a wide range of technical areas within the semiconductor realm from a technology and market stand-point.
Analyze semiconductor patents and patent portfolios to understand inventions, search and identify potential infringing semiconductor products or companies through reviewing IC/system datasheets, product manuals, whitepapers, technology demonstrations etc.
Support reverse engineering of advanced semiconductor products through analyzing both (a) semiconductor device level data such as complex SEM and TEM images of semiconductor devices and material properties of key chip layers such as transistor gates, dielectrics and interconnects and (b) circuit level data including hierarchical circuit schematic data.
Prepare evidence of use charts against infringing semiconductor products and present analysis of patents and infringement to clients.
Monitor overall project operations and ensure their timely execution within budget. Lead & monitor the teams performance to ensure efficiency in processoperations and meet individual & group targets and provide timely reports to management.
