Primarily supporting SCCM infrastructure servers and resolve /troubleshoot any SCCM Operational service tickets.
Maintain health and configuration of the SCCM application on all SCCM servers globally.
Troubleshoot Package Replication
A secondary role to SCCM Operations Support Analyst/Engineering is that you may be asked to help assist our Windows Deployment team with patch initiatives and patch deployments utilizing SCCM.
That role will depend and vary upon the activities of SCCM Operations Support Analyst.
Monitor SCCM Servers with SCOM Servers. Will be L1 support for SCCM's SCOM servers.
System Center Orchestrator Knowledge is preferred.
Skilled in SCCM 2007/2012 configurations
SCCM tool packaging support
SCCM Operations support.
Administration skills in windows w2k8/w2k12.
Skilled in Windows patching and change control processes.
Knowledge on change management, release management. Ability to script in Power Shell, VB and CHEF.
As SCCM Operations support, person must be able to be oncall for SCCM escalations.
In some cases overtime may be required to support some weekend patch deployments on Sunday maintenance window.
The primary role for this position will be SCCM Operations support but you may be asked to also provide support to our window deployment team to patch systems on occasions.
This will depend and vary upon the current workload of SCCM Operations.
Although its not required but possessing leadership skills to work and lead teams on projects is preferred.
