Drive excellence in processes and service levels toward the LOBs.
Develop an entrepreneurial mind set with the buying leads in supporting Sales opportunities through early engagement.
Understand and provide guidelines to the team to further optimize and develop supply base.
Work with Project teams on key negotiations and advise/ agree strategies with Buying Leads in order to address supply risk and performance issues.
Manage the resource loading and team performance. Propose improvements.
Identify execution risks and provide action plans.
Be the common interface to other sourcing functions or leadership.
Agree and meet the required KPI/ metrics with the LOBs.
Have full visibility on the front and back logs.
Meet / Exceed the agreed service level agreements, G&Os as part of the AOP with the team.
Identify programs that can further consolidate and reduce the supply base
Enable the common use of tools especially eSourcing.
Develop the expediting function and define related processes.
Manage the performance of supply base.
Manage and report out on the metrics and other reporting requirements.
Engage with P&E + Ops team during Pre-award phase and work on cost improvement and drive Value Engineering to enhance winning possibilities.
Ensure Compliance to the sourcing policies, quality requirements with high level of integrity.
