The position will provide a focal point (interface) between various global, development, go to market, product and program management teams.
In addition, the position will require supplier management with 3rd party suppliers and mobile carrier customers.
The role has the responsibility to define upgrade requirements, review feature specs and UI designs, and partner with engineering in product design & development.
The individual will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, development activities and all activities associated with product launch / ship acceptance of upgrades and security MRs.
Understand and analyze early testing results and address any issues that result.
Specific Knowledge/ Skills:
Must have excellent knowledge and experience (2+ years) of the following:
Ability to handle multiple programs simultaneously within a matrix organization
Candidate should be Self-Driven / Self-Starter
Demonstrated ability to deliver programs on time/ cost/ meet customer expectations
Must have sufficiently detailed technical knowledge to work with engineering teams to understand feasibility and blocking issues
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability efficiently communicate to senior executives both internally and externally.
Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science, 2 or more years experience in engineering, product management or sales.
An MBA or equivalent is preferred
