The SAP Application Systems Administrator is responsible for providing support to multiple SAP systems in a global environment. Responsibilities include system monitoring, user security and access management, transport system administration, job management, and ensuring application meets standards and are in compliance with Pentair Valves & Controls policies.
Provide first-level support for users with application and security-related issues and questions about the systems administered.
User and Access Administration - User set up, role creation and assignments, SOD management, password management.
Transport System Administration - Perform transports of change requests from development to quality assurance and then to production, when the appropriate approvals have been attained.
Batch job creation, changes & update Manage batch jobs within the SAP systems including creation of new jobs and changes to existing jobs, working with business owners on requirements.
Batch job completion and cancellation reporting Daily monitoring of job completion and working with job owners to resolve issues.
Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, ABAP dumps, spools, system traces, etc.).
Spool and Printer Administration.
Maintain and update security parameters, guidelines, policies, procedures and controls for the operation of the SAP systems.
Data collection request for Internal & External Audit Ensure SAP system complies with SOX and general IT security requirements
Coordinate periodic SOX audits with Internal and External Audit teams and participate in potential mitigation efforts.
Coordinate with SAP Basis administrators.
In depth knowledge of SAP supplication and modules.
Experience with security concepts and User/Role administration across all SAP products.
Experience with administration of GRC tools such as SAP GRC or Security Weaver.
