The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute strategies for the assigned Portfolio(s) and to work with the business director to develop the necessary plans for successful execution of these strategies.
This role works closely with Regional Marketing leaders to ensure full transfer of knowledge and best practices for portfolio marketing. This role also works closely with regional RD&E, Finance, Market Research, and Supply Chain, as well as with the cluster multi-functional teams on key sector and portfolio opportunities and initiatives.
Successfully implement new products /program launches
Lead activation of marketing plan with sales organization (training, sales presentation, sales collateral, customer calls)
Assist in implementation of marketing programs: branding, labelling, pricing, new product launches
Responsible for portfolio management including 4Ps, and manage product life cycle, and portfolio rationalisation
Work with Application Experts to trouble shoot & resolve customer issues relating to product performance
Coordinate participation in Trade Shows / Seminars/Customer Meets
Provide Strategic direction / Training Inputs and support to the Sales team.
Registration of the new product, packaging and labels and handling licensing issues for new products, where necessary
Vendor management: Identifying key vendors for third party products, negotiating, closing agreement, working with them to drive the sales in the local as well as the SAARC markets
