As the senior manager of the security operations function,the candidate will be expected to manage all aspects of security operations,with responsibility for coordinating specialized subject matter training and mentoring to group members.
Manages all facets of security operations initiated by or assigned to the team,
Develop and enforce standards for operations, performance and quality control.
Acts as liaison for relationship with law enforcement, regulatory agencies and professional security groups.
Serves as the lead for life safety on site and for events, travel security support, risk assessments and as a resource to support the wider Corporate Security function when needed.
Identifies process shortcomings,control gaps or opportunities for enhanced monitoring orsurveillanceand coordinates withbusiness partnerstoensureimplementation andmitigation of exposureor loss.
Tracks and keeps familiar with evolving,state-of-the-art security operational tools and techniques.
Provide overall leadership and direct departmental and individual growth of staff members, while promoting skill set development, including security research and communication skills.
Develop standards for security performance, cost and quality control to increase improvements in productivity, measurement and operational management capabilities.
Desired Profile Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree required
Advanced degree or professional security qualifications desirable
Experience with security control room operations, incident and crisis management.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive security operational management experience with strong in people management is required;particular experience in either a top tier multinational or major financial industry.
A background in law enforcement, military or similar.
