Member of Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) Technical support team
Candidate shall be able to effectively understand technical issues so to troubleshoot and solve complex problems by debugging of software application and providing workarounds, recovery steps or small software fixes to customer issues.
Closely work with Development team on problem resolution, requirement Analysis and testing as needed
Onsite support to global customers/project teams for model maintenance and troubleshooting on need basis
Back office support for APS team globally for modeling and analysis
Experience in Refinery and Petrochemical planning and/or scheduling operations
Experience in Refinery and/or Petrochemical domain
Experience in Supply Chain optimization domain
Experience with Linear Programming applications like RPMS( Honeywell SCM tool), Haverly, PIMS, Production Scheduler, ProPlan, ProSched, Orion, SAND, BLEND, MBO etc
Experience in supporting internal and external customer in resolving technical queries or problems would be an added advantage
Experience in consulting assignments on supply chain or planning/scheduling projects or investment studies would be an advantage
Knowledge on Linear Programming and Non-linear Programming techniques would be an advantage
Knowledge on Kinetic Simulators and Regression would be an advantage
Working experience with MS Access : Intermediate to Expert level
Working experience with MS Excel: Intermediate to Expert level
Candidate must have good written and spoken communication skills
Experience in performance issues analysis, DB performance tuning and ability to debug software crashes.
Experience in script writing using VB.
