Tasks & Duties :
Forecasting and budgeting
Analysis of business potential in assigned market. Competition monitor.
Develop monthly and quarterly financial goals based on the business analysis.
Monitor salesmen activities periodically to ascertain directional correctness.
Establish sales goals for key accounts personnel that support the overall financial goals of the branch.
Conduct meetings periodically with sales staff to review marketing plan and anticipated sales activity.
Devise short term plan to handle shortfalls if any thereby ensuring the achievement of sales and collection MBO’s
Review prospect base and new business performance of each area
Determine optimal utilization of available resources and drive for quality without compromising on the safety and health of personnel
Ensure channels of communication are always open for a free and unhindered feedback flow.
Conduct periodic review of processes and systems with the Ops management to identify duplication/ wastage of men and resources and reengineer wherever required.
Conduct informal feedback sessions with the supervisors and staff to ascertain staff motivation levels.
Educate the staff on their key role from a broader canvas perspective
Establish performance standards and goals for direct reports in a timely manner.
Recruitment and staffing. Workforce planning and specifying jobs and roles
Utilize company-endorsed programs to train new hires and existing staff on procedures for performing the key functions of their job.
Collaborate with Regional Staff and Human Resources to establish career growth and personnel development goals for direct reportees.
Ensure staff and superiors have sufficient and up-to-date information
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure the branch is in compliance with company policies and applicable government regulations.
Manage branch expenses in accordance with budgeted net profit goals
Generate and analyze MIS to ensure alignment with predetermined objectives
Generate and review periodic financial reports to determine the branch status in comparison to established financial goals
Monitor and evaluate motivation levels of personnel
Corporate and retail sales market knowledge
Industry and supply chain management knowledge
Should be able to use MS Excel to prepare & update MIS reports, to able to use MS-word to prepare quotations & MS-PowerPoint for client servicing and selling.
Knowledge of own SWOT (Strength,Weakness,Opportunities,Threat )
Should possess excellent verbal communication skills & presentation skills to put across ideas & thoughts to customers effectively, explain the products & provide support.
Should possess good written communication skills & resolve customer & interdepartmental issues.
