Identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resources departments.
Assists in coordinating all Training programs in conjunction with Learning and Development to enable efficient and effective operations of L & D
Prepare and maintain the annual Learning Calendar based on consumption and business requirements
Ensure that training delivery is aligned to best practice
Execute processes and administer tools and resources as necessary to ensure effective training deployment.
Analyze data and use information to identify problem areas and opportunities. Monitor metrics regularly and track activity against plans. Create countermeasures to fix performance, system or process gaps, taking necessary steps to support improvements as and when required
Provide LMS support: Create new and modify existing Learning Activities and Learning Assignments in the Learning Management System (LMS) and upload it in the LMS.
Prepare and compile training materials, as required
Keep abreast of Learning and Development innovations to enable retaining a highly talented and diverse workforce
Understand the competencies to perform a job role and a talents competency gap to undergo new job assignments/roles in association with the talent management team.
Prepare a suitable developmental action plan according to the competency gap and consistently support talent to scale up to meet the desired competency level.
Review the developmental action plan regularly to measure progress of the talent and perform course corrections if necessary to meet/exceed the desired competency level
Identify creative & effective development plans to incorporate in the DAP catalog.
Understand the challenges of talents pursuing DAPs and help talents navigate those challenges to successfully complete the program.
Lead or participate in training related projects, as required
Lead, coordinate or attend team conference call and other meetings, as required
Communicate with training participants (e.g. confirmation of training, questions regarding logistics or no show)
Respond to general requests related to setting up classes in LMS, help employees when they cannot register for a class or their participation is not shown in their training transcript
Establish Vendor Relationships
Screen potential learning vendors for quality, cost and potential use
