The mission of the Services Project Industrial Manager is to manage the industrial activity within his scope, for the Loco/coach Fleet Management Centre including Repair workshops located in or outside. She / He set up industrial targets, ensures that the industrialization processes and standards are implemented, manage the industrial budget & investments and improve the industrial performance of the Project by deploying lean manufacturing methods, tools and culture.
Role and Responsibilities
Ensure that all industrial standards, methods and tools are implemented within all depots.
Set the local standards deployment plan and ensure homogeneous deployment
Ensure that requirements in terms of Safety, EHS, special processes, Q alerts, etc. are properly identified and applied within the industrial processes and documentations
Build a strong Technicians Team in depot to perform Loco/coach Warranty.
Performance & Efficiency:
Make sure to apply the right footprint & make or buy solution, based on Industrial recommendation
Prepare the CAPEX request & follow up the site investment program
Drive performance improvement & efficiency while reducing wastes (productivity plan follow up, method time evolution recording, workstation optimization…)
Continuous improvement & APSYS:
Lead TLS Industrial Excellence & Continuous improvement program in the unit
Train, deploy & animate on the site the CI
Be active member in the Continuous Improvement and Return of experience networks
Local team empowerment:
Plan all industrial activity from mobilization phase up to beginning of Level 4 maintenance in India
Recruit in anticipation the workshop and depot team for training schedule
Coach the Local Deputy Industrial Manager
Support the Maintenance Development Team in the development and introduction of new systems and processes as Maintenance Box. Identify production issues and areas of potential improvement across the business and form a strategy and plan for improvement.
Animate the industrial teams from the projects & operations within his scope
Develop industrial population skills to fulfill project industrial requirements
Deliver the industrial QCD budget
Desired Knowledge / Experience
? Experienced manager in either a maintenance or production environment
? Good knowledge of industrialization tools and methods and techniques
? Good knowledge of implementing and managing Quality, Safety and Environmental systems
? Project management (or technical project management).
? Strong ability to manage teams
? Demonstrated skill in team building and people development.
? Minimum of eight years’ experience in industrial management.
? Project planning and Project management skill and experience.
? Strong IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
? Rail safety and railways standards knowledge preferred
? LCC/RAMS experience is a plus
? IT literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
? Languages: English
