Vendor management skills for procurement of new hardware/ software
Experience with Enterprise emails, networks/ firewalls
Experience with Linux operating systems Ubuntu/ Redhat/ Debian
Working knowledge of Windows environment including experience with Terminal Services
Microsoft/ Cisco/ Redhat certification would be desired
Good knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
Experience of setting up and troubleshooting network connectivity, firewall and telephony(including Avaya and Nortel VoIP phone system)
An ability to communicate issues and solutions clearly to end users as well as document them in a trouble ticket system
Knowledge of DHCP, DNS, SCCM, WSUS, WDS, File & Print services
Good Understanding of filesystems and Storage - NAS, SAN, RAID
