Job Description

Head - Talent Acquisition (BPO/BFSI) Define and implement a consistent Recruitment and Selection service delivery vision, and model/strategy, creating competitive advantage through effective and efficient Talent acquisition mechanisms. Craft employee value proposition and be a key driver as needed to maintain preferred employer status in a tight employment market so as to attract and retain best talent, across diverse (as well as evolving) Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for recruitment across all skills - Ensuring that client requirements / specifications are communicated to and understood by the Recruitment team - Design and establish hiring plans (includes right mix of sourcing and selection methodologies) that determine cost, productivity and timeliness of deliverables accounting for risk, manpower and market changes for at hiring location. - Constant drive to strengthen and increase utilization and effectiveness of low-cost channels by constant efforts to utilize IJP s, Employee Referral Schemes, Campus recruitment, Job Portals, Head-hunting, website etc. - Understand & manage requirements and accordingly build MIS to track, analyze and improve hiring efforts. - Front end all Recruitment related Audit activities - Ensuring control and compliance mechanism on all recruitment related activities - Partner with HR Generalists/Specialists on special initiatives, as required from time to time especially in the Talent Management arena and building retention programs. - Responsible for providing strategic and functional leadership to the Talent Acquisition function in the organization. - Partner with the leadership team in conceptualizing, developing, executing and managing TA processes & systems that lead to higher productivity, active engagement and a positive work culture within the organization. - Talent acquisition is one of the key focus areas and as the process owner, you should understand business requirements, help department heads in defining job descriptions, set job expectations, manage recruitment and ensure the talents acquired meet the business expectations - Champion for setting up recruitment methodologies, should be able to up and design the Talent Acquisition processes from the behavioral science angle and mold the people to the culture of the organization. - Be able to form a new recruitment cell managing people from different cultures speaking different languages - Proactively be aware of employee related risks (attrition, grievances, negative influences) among employees that could potentially affect employee morale and engage in corrective actions or even propose/implement policy enhancements or changes. - Engage, mentor and motivate the HR team and other managers to maintain a positive & energetic work environment for employees - Actively champion the Learning & Development plans and initiatives across the company - Conduct periodic market surveys to ensure that the company's compensation and benefits packages are competitive. - Be the brand ambassador of the organization, effectively use the Company's social media channels to connect with employees as well as the outside world. - Promote good work-life-balance organize Health & Wellness programs, sporting and other fun competitions to boost employee morale and team spirit. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification, Experience & Skill Sets: 1. Graduate/Post Graduate with Minimum 15 Plus Years of experience in Talent Acquisition & has to be from BPO/BFSI/ Insurance Industry. 2. Exposure in developing partnership with team seniors and key stakeholders in an effort to drive a client-oriented culture and delivery model 3. Exposure and understanding of Recruitment function and market dynamics 4. Ability to work in challenging business / market environment with aggressive targets / stringent timelines. 5. Excellent people skills with a natural ability to connect with employees at all levels 6. Confident in grievance handling with a structured approach problem solving 7. Excellent command over English and fluent written and verbal communication 8. Eye for details, ability to spot risks, gaps or errors in legal documents 9. Knack for spotting talent among employees or potential employees 10. Be able to create tight people systems. Key Behavioral Skills: A. Should be able to do the final interviews B.
