Job Description

- You will be responsible for P&L of the Events vertical

- Continually identify targets for Event Management revenue and execute growth plan in identified areas.

- Focuses on growing event revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department.

- To chart out growth and execution plan for making the vertical profitable and self-sustainable.

- Organizing calendar based events Pan India / Globally ; reaching out to the masses / corporates / social & cultural leaders etc.

- Develops working relationships with outside vendors and establishes prices and service agreements to enhance the event experience and to increase additional revenue opportunities

- Responsible for overall strategy, planning, implementation and growth of Association events.

- Conceptualization of Annual Business Plans - Events / strategic planning / budgeting / Financial Analysis and approvals.

- Detailing the proposals wrt venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, costing & timelines.

- Formulating comprehensive MIS covering all the key performance measures of the business giving a macro picture.

- Creating Strong Branding through PR, Media, Digital & Online Marketing.

- Lead / Procure Sponsorships and revenue generation.

- Responsible for building team of professionals to handle the events and doing effective team management.

- Ensuring effective Operational and Administrative activities related to organizing the events across India and Internationally.

- Interacting & Inviting speakers, performers & other eminent personalities of industry / media/ theatre and ensuring logistics needed.

- Liasoning and networking

- Post event evaluation ( Including Analysis and reports for event stakeholders)

- Creates an atmosphere in all event management operations areas that meets or exceeds guest expectations.

- Consult with customers in order to determine objectives and requirements for events such as meetings, conferences, and conventions.

- Good written & oral communication & presentation skills

- Strong analytical skills- ability to understand and interpret numbers.

- Demonstrated ability to form and develop corporate relationships and partnerships

- Demonstrated success in the development and promotion of fundraising events or similar programs

- Ability to sell the Association's programs and events to a variety of audiences, including corporate management, individual participants and volunteers

- Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of large events preferred

- Being culturally and artistically inclined will be an added advantage

- Ability to think out of the box

- Multi-tasking and Ability to handle pressure.

- Effective leadership skills and team management abilities

- Ability to manage large numbers of volunteers at different levels of expertise with diplomacy

- Ability to work with diverse communities and demonstrate inclusion

- Good Orator Skills and Networking

- Excellent organizational skills; professional customer service skills with visitors, callers and volunteers

- Willingness to travel as job requires extensive travelling.
