Position Description: A very senior role. Provide strong functional leadership and drive a motivated team of around 10. Lead the development of media strategy and building of media plans, including audience targeting and segmentation, messaging, budgeting, analysis, etc. Actively develop and manage end-to-end media execution to ensure client’s goals are exceeded. Collaborate with strategy and data teams on day to day basis. Understand vendor/partner capabilities across the entire media channel landscape. Identify vendors/partners to deliver against media plan. Solicit bids and negotiate pricing/placements. Day-to-day vendor/partner execution management. Analyse performance data by channel, provide intelligent synthesis, interpretations, and present appropriate strategic action plans based on analysis/conclusions. Push boundaries of media ecosystem to drive efficient and effective cross-channel results. Provide creative guidance to clients, partner agencies, and internal teams based on goals and media. Track competitive media activity and analysis for client’s brands. Provide ongoing media education and POVs (industry updates, emerging channels, etc. Energise and develop employees at all levels on a continuous basis. Drive a strong performance-oriented culture.

Hiring profile: Top tier MBA with 15-20 years of overall experience.
Ideally, have 5 odd years in regular media and the rest in digital.
Preference for someone who has handled US-based clients extensively.
Deep and demonstrated familiarity with all aspects of the media function. Extremely current on digital. Some exposure to retail useful.
Track record of long-term business relationships.
Large MNC media agency experience mandatory. Strong leadership, communication and presentation capabilities.
Must be either located in Bengaluru or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
