The Candidate will have the responsibility for addressing questions, issues, and requests from users and Partners resolving issues, either directly, or by co-ordinating requests and responses with other AZ support organizations.
System monitoring and Proactive Customers/Platform Support
Application configuration and Management support.
Provide ongoing support for application monitoring, packaging, versioning and updates in the HPC environment
Operating System and Virtualization Support
Installation/configuration (Linux, xCAT, Puppet, etc.) Patching, Qualification
Responsible for technical and architectural system overview of the existing HPC service, providing expert analysis of the existing services and tools and formulating the recommendations for the new process.
Technical expertise in Linux system administration and most common services
Knowledge of relevant technologies, platforms, applications and databases
Scientific knowledge and understanding of the HPC tasks specifics
Ability to estimate & forecast timescales realistically
Fluent spoken and written English
Strong interpersonal and team working skills
Self-motivated, dynamic and able to work with minimum supervision
Ability to communicate with multi-cultural team
Ability to pick up new technologies and new concepts quickly
