Job Description

1.Financial

a. Preparation of AOP & Annual HEMM Maintenance budget for Mines
b. Make recommendations on maintenance management efficiencies including wear, damaged and purchasing

2.Operational

a. To achieve budget KPI's for HEMM mobile equipment
b. Plan and schedule to maintain adequate spare part stock and associated parts.
c. Monitoring of Maintenance parameters like Uptime, downtime etc (MTTR, MTBF, AV) individual component and assembly's life and monitoring wear condition throughout component life span.
d. Provide a pro-active maintenance strategy that will achieve world bench availability and reliability of a modern large mining fleet
e. Ensure adequate qualified and experienced maintenance planning personnel are available to undertake the required maintenance planning activities.
f. Undertake Condition monitoring of HEMM equipment to ensure HEMM equipment are maintained in acceptable condition to achieve the overall operational targets
g. Keep Management informed of issues/ concerns that could affect the overall operational mobile fleet performance.
h. Ensure that a efficient and effective HEMM equipment defect reporting system is maintained reviewed and acted on.
i. Ensure that regular maintenance inspections are performed and recorded.
j. Ensure that all the provisions of the Mines Act and of the Mines regulations and other rules relating to all aspects of maintenance operation or examination of machinery are properly carried out by himself or by subordinate officials, competent persons or work persons
k. He shall examine all reports, registers and other records relating to the maintenance, operation or examination of workshop machinery required to be made or kept in pursuance of the Mines Act, the Mines regulations or orders made there under.
l. Ensure all global practices are deployed at the mine in relation to maintenance that will ultimately improve the overall operation both financially and operationally.

3.Customer

a. Maintain effective strategic relationships with all key stakeholders - Vendors, Government Officials and all related local/ regional regulatory/ statutory government authorities
b. Active collaboration with internal stakeholders.

4.People Management and Leadership

a. Understand the cultural context prevailing, facilitate collaboration and effective delivery of tasks.
b. Plan for Training and Development of Team
c. Active collaboration with internal stakeholders

5.Department with which collaborative working has to be ensured

a. Regularly communicating AOP/Business Plan, Challenges, Opportunities and actual performance outturn to employees and ensuring shared vision for SPVs
b. Providing direction & guidance on leadership development and succession planning efforts
c. Mentoring and developing next level leadership in achieving overall organizational goals in respective areas
