The profile will operate as the direct business support for the Director of the Asia CS organization. The position will report to the Finance Director in Seattle and lead a 12 person team with direct reports in China, Japan and India, focused on providing strategic guidance and finance support for the Asia Customer Service team. This team will drive process improvements, standardize reporting and prepare analysis to drive strategic decisions focused on efficiently delivering the worlds best customer experience for Amazon customers. This person must be a self-starter with strong business modeling skills, keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and solid business intelligence skills. The position requires a strong leader that can help guide the direction of the organization, set goals for the team and help the organization to meet those goals. This profile has regular interaction with various business and Finance leaders across and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Primary responsibilities include:
Ownership of reporting on financial and operational performance metrics; including driving changes and financial analyses.
Partnering with senior business leaders as the key finance support for monthly and quarterly business reviews.
Budget management, including creation of and reporting on annual operating plans and monthly risks and opportunities.
Building mechanisms to measure the state of the business and drive positive changes.
Leading ad-hoc financial analyses to support new initiatives.
Provide leadership, direction and mentoring to team members.
Driving cross-business analytic projects for senior management, with financial modeling, data mining and reporting.
Drive cost savings through outlier report analysis and system improvements
10+ years of relevant business analysis and modeling experience and
currently working with a Global MNC BPO / KO / IT as a VP / Director
Advanced Excel skills
Advanced analytic, financial modeling and reporting skills
Business partnership skills
Management experience, especially leading remote teams
Experience with Cognos or other BI systems
An ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
