Job Description

The position requires excellent people skills, internal communication (our sales teams), potential customer communication, and analytical skills to properly assess the level of risk associated with credit on an open account basis with consideration for country, economic, political and cultural risks. The position requires collaboration with OTC management to develop and recommend policies for risk containment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage customer data management team

Manage establishing customer credit, a process that will require quick turn-around.

Monitor the credit granting and updating process.

Accept or reject the staff's credit recommendations while maximizing credit extension and protecting the company's assets.

Manage relations with credit reporting agencies.

Ensure customer AR balances are within established credit limits on a global basis.

Ensure companies credit policy is current, making recommendations when necessary to adjust the policy on a case by case basis.

Ensure integrity of customer master data.

Develop standards for customer registration

Maintenance of customer master data including standardizing, de-duping and parent/child relations building.

Management reporting as requested.

Adherence to Sarbanes Oxley controls and required quarterly reporting.


Skills:
7+ years of relevant experience of Credit Risk/Letter of credit.

Strong financial statement/financial data analysis skills

Working knowledge of Letters of Credit and Security arrangements

Experience of working for a US or International multinational

Knowledge and expertise in Oracle desirable.
