? Forecasting monthly sales and Sales target achievement on monthly basis and supervision of Promoters.
? Monitoring primary & secondary sales and stocks of key Chains
? Monitoring adherence to commercial norms and taking corrective action where required
? Monitoring of company market share for categories handled and taking action on focus areas for share enhancement.
? Identification of areas of network expansion / correction and recommendation of suitable parties within the territory. Introducing new products to Chains, implementing new marketing plans.
? Identification of focus products and outlets and other locations for visibility focus for merchandising and taking action through the sales force.
? Selection, training and performance reviews of the Promoters/Merchandiser
? Understanding strengths and weaknesses of his frontline sales personal working with chains and rectifying the weaknesses through on the job training as well as classroom training in a few select areas.
? Normally Executive would handle a territory, which requires tact in handling due to the maturity of the market, or complexity being high due to simultaneous influence of all segments (equally strong) in the market.
? The nature of complexity would compel the Executive to be ever active to changes in the market in network, new product introduction or competitor moves.
? He should adeptly handle sudden erratic behavior of old and excessively aggressive dealers.
? Should maintain a database of all willing and able parties who could be developed as an effective fallback options in case of need.
? His job is primarily developmental and so he should focus on creating opportunities, which have been hitherto missed.
Job knowledge: Sales management, marketing, product development, channel (dealer & distributor) management& sales commercial management, Retail Sales management, Franchisee Development.

* Will be responsible to Handle Modern Trade Channel ( Eg: Metro, D-Mart, Big Bazaar, Brand Factory etc) for Entire Karnataka
* Will have 3-4 Area Sales Executive reporting to him
* Will be responsible to handle 25cr business for this channel
* Should have handled Modern Trade for 3+ yrs in Karnataka
* Should have strong knowledge of buyers, Category Managers / Department Manager of above mentioned channel stores
