Job Description

Role purpose:
To design automation solutions for existing business processes and to maintain existing automation solutions. To understand robotic tools to process automation. To create and maintain documentation related to Robotic Process Automation projects: process mapping, business requirements, functional and technical specifications, proposals, test plans, handover and solution documentation. To work together with a Project Coordinator to prioritize the work, organize tasks and ensure timely and qualitative closure of all automation projects. To perform quality assurance tests for all developments before their production handover

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Analysing and understanding the business processes
Identifying and communicating the technical software requirements.
Designing automated process solutions in accordance with standard design principles and conventions.
Configuring new automated processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
Creating and maintaining solution documentation.
Supporting existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change
Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the
delivery/project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
Supporting the Operational Teams during the UAT and rollout phases
Comprehensive and evident understanding of Microsoft Technology (VBA, Windows, Internet
Explorer, SQL Server, Web Services)
Good written skills with the ability to clearly document and explain business processes and automated
solution designs.
The ability to conceptualise automated solutions and understand the prescribed design architecture.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in development methodology and deployment, or relevant experience.
General SAP knowledge
Computer skills: advanced MS Office;
Programing platforms: advanced Visual Basic, basic HTML, basic JavaScript
Enhanced SAP scripting knowledge
Advanced programming/ configuration/ analytical skills
Providing support to end users during UAT and debugging root causes of any issues.
Fluent English
Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders
Attention to detail and accuracy
