Play a key role in devising and implementing strategy for The Company Advantage
Define, track and improve key business metrics pertaining to THE COMPANY (sales volume/value, growth, share of business, no of sellers, selection etc)
Co-ownership of the THE COMPANY P&L with various categories
Continuously work with category teams to develop, execute and track their THE COMPANY business performance
Drive strategic initiatives e.g. 3rd party warehouse model, geographic reach
Work closely with THE COMPANY operations team to continuously review performance of existing warehouse partners based on cost, speed and accuracy and taking quick decisions to align end objective of seller and customer delight.
Build capabilities to provide competitive marketplace to sellers.
Drive strong system capabilities partnering closely with Technology/Engineering team for THE COMPANY.
Work closely with enabling/business Partners like HR, Finance, Legal and operations excellence for THE COMPANY.
Desired skills & experience:
MBA from tier 1 institute with 9+ years of operational experience preferably in the B2C sector
Degree or professional qualification in engineering or quantitative discipline
Experience of managing a brand/product group/business in the B2C sector e.g. FMCG/ durables/ online retail
Managing complex projects from initiation through to implementation
Developing innovative solutions to complex business challenges
Developing and implementing measurement systems, processes and procedures for B2C businesses
Good judgments and reasoning ability
Strong analytical skills with extremely high number orientation
Creative thinker with the ability to recognize improvement opportunities
Very high customer orientation
Excellent communication skills
Driving cross-functional stakeholders for achieving THE COMPANY business objectives
