Profile - Assistant Manager - Nurse Review Experience - Bill Review Qualification - B.Sc (Nursing) + NCLEX - RN Shift - Flexible Roles & Responsibilities Summary The Nurse Review position provides reviews bills submitted for medical care to determine medical necessity, relatedness and causality to the motor vehicle accident. Role & Responsibilities: Review bills including HFCAs (Healthcare Financing Administration) and UB92s on injured parties, involved in Automobile Accidents Perform bill review in accordance with our clients structure. Review of certain coding rules Will be required to cross train into other areas. Other duties as assigned. Relevant Experience Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written is required Ability to handle multiple tasks is required Ability to work under moderate supervision is required Knowledge of computer programs, emails, word is required. Working knowledge ICD10, CPT and Drug Codes is required. Computer proficiency in a Windows-based environment is required Insurance/provider billing or utilization review background is preferred Skills / Competencies Ability to communicate effectively with providers, clients and other employees is required. Ability to add, subtract and multiply is required. Ability to apply critical thinking skills to assessment of the claim is required. Ability to write a clear, professional nurse summary report is required.
