Job Description


Business Development

New Customer Acquisition. & Mapping of Accounts in the region allocated
Daily reporting of all sales activity.
Achieve budgeted revenue and sales through products viz., Conferences, customized events etc.
Achieve revenue through new client acquisition and existing client mining.
Meet departmental heads of Marketing, Sales, Corporate Communications, CFO, CEO, etc to sell products.
Adhere to sales plan like meeting the budgeted number of clients every week, follow up with clients, etc.
Credit control by collecting the outstanding payments.
Coordinate with operations, faculty, execution team, etc to ensure smooth delivery.
Understand the economic trends thereby contributing to the LS strategy.


Ensure process adherence at all times and error free timely delivery of projects.
Ensure timely invoicing and collections.
Funnel Management & SFDC Updating.

People Management
Be a team player
Work closely with new team members to mentor and guide them in their initial tenure.

Touch Points should be CXO level people. Having Good contacts with Marketing/Sales Heads or Corporate Communication Heads.

Candidates with prior experience in Sponsorship of Corporate Conferences, Corporate Events, Round Tables, Leadership Summits-Corporate Sales would be preferred .

Candidate Profile:

5-8 years in business development.

Highly articulate with excellent business communication (verbal and written) skills and presentation skills suitable for a global corporate environment

Energized by a highly demanding and result oriented team environment where priorities can change frequently.

Should not have apprehensions to travel beyond city limits for the interest of business.

Possesses excellent MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint and MS-Word skills

Should have network among the CXO's; especially from the Marketing Domain.
