Key job responsibilities:
Development of test strategy for a release that takes in to account functional testing (application testing) and building test project plans
Development of test cases of high quality that mimic customer usage of the product
Test case reviews and managing changes to test artefacts through controlled means
Prioritize, Execute and supervise execution of existing manual/automated functional test scripts and report results
Writing automated tests, reviewing product design specs, reviewing product code, developing test tools to improve efficiency, debugging problems, identifying root causes of problems, and possibly fixing bugs
Key member of the Defect Triage committee
Working closely with the development, maintenance and program management teams to understand the impact of bug fixes, analyzing the test impact to help mitigate product/project risks
Achieve high level of requirement coverage as well as test coverage
Continuously improve and drive others to improve test scripts and test coverage over period
Be or become an expert in Misys banking products. Provide on-site product and test expertise in situations like Customer Acceptance Testing where the situation demands
Deliver Product quality reports at the end of the testing to make informed decisions and help decide to ship or not to ship the product.

Should have executed one full test cycle of banking application that involves test strategy, design to product release preferably in corporate lending /syndicated lending/corporate banking application (Must).
Ability to recognize and drive production of excellent test plans and test execution
Ability to write very clear bug reports easily understood by development across geographies
Strong Problem solving and quantitative analysis skills
Creatively think out of the box for the test development
Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, elaborate high-level information into details
Strong interpersonal skills. Strong team player who is able to work independently
Strong understanding of customer enhancements needs and what to test that makes sense to functional enhancements
At least 1-2 years of experience with SQL server or PL/SQL or any database management skills
Hands on experience with testing tools like Test director. HP Quality centre.
Experience working within a cross-functional team; able to work independently; and with others in a fast paced environment
Basic Knowledge of Test automation and test script automation and execution is required
BSc / BE / BTech / MCA or equivalent
10 to 12 yrs of experience in Testing/Implementation/Business Analyst role in the Treasury / Capital Market / Derivatives domain Must to have the domain expertise.
At least 3 to 4 yrs of experience as a Test Lead role is must.
Exposure to databases like Oracle / SQL / Sybase
Exposure to application servers like Web Logic or Web sphere is highly preferable (nice to have)
