Roles & Responsibilities:
Managing ITIL processes like Incidents/Problem & Change mgmt.
Performing Root Cause Analysis for Major Incidents.
TSM / VTL Space capacity Management.
Responsible for the hiring, development and overall management of technical staff.
Mentors technical staff in trouble shooting techniques and project methodology.
Proactively analyzes issues in the TSM environment, determines project assignments and scope and monitors project performance.
Manages client interaction and expectations regarding development efforts.
Develops lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.
Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions.
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Builds a knowledge base of each client's business, systems and objectives.
Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.
Facilitates effective team interaction.
Acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.

TSM Health Checks Requirements:
In depth knowledge of TSM 5.x and 6.x concepts.
The challenges of Enterprise TSM environment.
Management of backups for multi-site organization.
Should posses experience on working on tape Libraries such as StorageTek , Quantum & IBMTape Libraries
Proven experience with performance management, performance tuning and backup reporting methodologies
(success/failure measurements, report creation, metrics reporting, etc.)
Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze document and resolve problems. Preferred
UNIX/Wintel system admin experience VTL Concepts SAN Concepts ITIL V3 PMPO Certification.
Six sigma Yellow Belt, IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, IBM TSM Administration V -5.5 and ITIL V3
