This is a middle leadership position in the Product & Technology function which caters to the entire South Asia. The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for representing client in the team and streamlining the execution of program priorities, while maintaining conceptual and technical integrity of the features.
Duties and responsibilities:
Leading the product strategy and definition of the company's digital products, in all platforms including web, mobile and tablet:
a. Identifying new products
b. Monitoring external trends in curricular frameworks and world-class benchmarks and applying to strategies as appropriate.
c. Driving new product discovery process to create new products and minimum viable products to get to market fast.
Responsibility to budget and schedule these projects.
a. Customer training requirements for the products.
b. Marketing and promotion of products.
c. Product design and development
Primary point person for sales and marketing to determine product features, negotiate achievable deadlines, and meet and exceed customer expectations.
Manage effectively and prioritize key products.
a. Work with Global Headquarter product development team.
b. Collaborate with US user experience team to understand digital UX and Design goals, validation methods and standardized feedback processes. Work with local team members or vendors to execute shared research and design plans.
Creating epics, user stories, and prioritizing it for the engineering team.
Creating product vision in consultation with leadership team, cross functional teams including Sales, Editorial and Marketing
Understanding the market, the customer and the business
Using a complete knowledge of architecture, engineering best practices and ensuring the products are built per big picture architecture guidelines
Managing deadlines and schedules with zero compromise on quality
Routinely applying creativity and innovation to ensure product differentiation and Quality worthy of the Brand.
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Instructional design with curriculum & content design and development
Hands on with Jira and wireframe tools
Competence using typical web producer software, tools, documents and processes including HTML, image editing software such as Photoshop, and standard office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Mobile and tablet product development experience, knowledge or responsive design preferred
Experience in managing agile development product development within a business
Experience in working with remote teams & colleagues
Past experience working with content based digital products and/or digital curriculum products a significant plus
Strong experience with working with system operations teams, quality assurance processes, and development/technology teams on a day-to-day basis.
Demonstrate past experience of developing new products and features aligned to key performance indicators (KPIs).
Experience with user experience architecture & design work to improve experiences
Ability to evaluate user-centric needs while synthesizing technical capabilities to provide the most effective solution.

Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and administrative skills
