Job Description

We are scouting for resources for the following Skills

1) Risk Management - Algorithmics or OFSAA

JOB DESCRIPTION:

At least 6 -16 years experience in Enterprise Application Software as a Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance Architect including at least 3-5 years of experience in Algorithmics or OFSAA.
Expertise in Credit Risk Solutions, Market risk, ALM and FTP.
Capturing customer requirements, advising and assisting Implementation teams in the provision of design and implementation requirements
Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Develop relationships with team members across Algorithmics, Risk Analytics, to serve client needs.
Ensuring that relevant information from each presales engagement is fed back to the Business Line to be used in product management decisions
Support the product, functional and implementation specific aspects of the bid strategy as well as assisting with responses to RFIs. Preparation of proposals and presenting solutions to clients.
Responsible for ensuring proposed solutions are achievable, profitable and realistic given client requirements
A degree in Engineering and / or Management degree preferably with FRM certification
Willingness and ability to travel is a strong requirement.

Essential Expertise

Strong background in credit risk management
Experience developing or reviewing credit risk (including Counter-party credit risk) risk rating and measurements systems, economic capital, ICAAP, stress testing with commercial banks or financial institutions in the context of broader regulatory reforms such as Basel II, 2.5, III
Familiarity of capital policy frameworks under Basel 2, Basel 2.5 and Basel 3, both from a BIS rulebook perspective
Knowledge of credit risk reporting and economic capital, regulatory reporting related to credit risk portfolios and supporting the process
Skilled in developing macroeconomic forecasting models, knowledge of Vector Auto Regression, time series models and cross sectional analysis is desirable
Strong understanding of loss forecasting both in retail and wholesale portfolios is also desirable
Excellent written & oral communication skill
Experience with Global Delivery Models. and sound understanding of project management principles & risks associated with complex delivery programs.

Desirable Skills and experience

Having deep skills in C, C++, Oracle, Data Integration, Microsoft BI, Predictive modeling and visualization / simulation.
Working knowledge of leading reporting and business intelligence systems - preferably Cognos BI or other BI Reporting tools

2) Cognos BI

Product : Cognos BI (Cognos 10 / Cognos 8.5)

Role & Responsibilities:8, 5, 3.5, 9
Played BI / OLAP architect Role for at least two end to end large engagements
Strong hands on expertise in Cognos 8.5 and above. Preference will be given to candidates with Cognos 10 experience including RTM etc
Good understanding of ROLAP / MOLAP functionalities
Have extensive experience with logical and Physical data modeling
Preference will be given to candidates with strong Industry experience (Banking /Insurance /Telco / Pharma/ Retail)
Preferably have experience with ETL and Enterprise Metadata Management
Have in-depth expertise on one of the leading RDBMSs

Skills Set:

BI/DW Implementation Experience 8 years +.
Knowledge of BI Reference Architecture & BI Methodology.
Extensive knowledge of the IM stack.
Exposure to Industry Models.
Exposure to Assets in the Datawarehousing Space.
Experience in end to end selling (Value Creation, Business Case Creation, Solutioning, Presentation / Orals).
Experience with Global Delivery Models.
Excellent written & oral communication skill
Sound understanding of project management principles & risks associated with complex information management programs.

3) Filenet ACM (Advance Case Manager or Case Manager)

Education:

Minimum of an under graduate degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Experience:

Around 5- 8 years project related experience with exposure to all phases of software development including: Analysis and Design,
Implementation, Testing and Deployment specific to Incentive Compensation or Sales Performance Management solutions
Experience implementing and integrating with anyone or more of the following: PeopleSoft, SAP, Baan, and Oracle.
Preferred technical certification (RDBMs certification Oracle, SQLServer, etc.).
Preferred Microsoft certification NT/other.
Required technical skills; working knowledge of Unix and Varicents supported database platforms ( Oracle, DB2, SQLServer)
Tools: SQL, Microsoft Project; OS and environments: Windows (2000, 98, 95, NT), Unix, MS-Dos., Web servers (tuxedo, iis, apache).
Languages: JAVA, JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, XML
Degree/diploma in Computer Science and/or related field.
Experience architecting technical enterprise solutions.
Understands Data Modeling concepts, methodologies and processes
Skilled in analyzing and documenting business requirements and corresponding solution specifications.
Able to work with minimal direction.
Understanding of, and experience with, application architecture (client / server, web, database).
Experience writing database queries in SQL.
Experience with database development of stored procedures, triggers, and view functions.
Prior experience in building relational databases
Able to complete calculations & reporting and to create complex formulas, macros and sophisticated formatting in Microsoft Excel
Strong business communication skills (verbal and written)
Solid understanding of financial reporting concepts
Proven knowledge of and hands on experience with:
SQL Server
Data Warehousing
Microsoft Analysis Services (MSAS / SSAS)
Extract, Transform & Load (ETL)
Data Transformation Services (DTS)

4) Clarity FSR / VAricent

Clarity FSR now called Cognos FSR experience.
Previous experience with Cognos FSR implementations and configuration of Cognos FSR
Previous consulting skills or strong stakeholder management skills
Experience of project management
Strong communication skills
Previous experience of analysing requirements, managing testing and
delivering training is essential

Basic knowledge in Knowledge of Solvency or Basel


English: Fluent

Preferred

Accounting / Finance

At least 5 years experience in Supporting software sales in BI/PM/financial solutions, or Experience as specialist in financial department or planning/budgeting/forecasting environment

At least 3 years experience in Exposure to BI or PM

5) Cognos TM1

1) Should be a qualified CA/MBA(Fin) with min 5 years relevant experience around Financial accounting / planning & budgeting
2) Added qualification in Compliance reporting for FSR / someone who has knowledge of IFRS accounting system and GAAP
3) Has knowledge of tools like Hyperion HFM or SAP BCS and is willing to get cross trained on new tools like TM1 or FSR
4) Should have the inclination to be "techno functional" and not remain pure functional
5) Should be willing to travel and be flexible to relocate

6) SPSS Architect

SPSS Architect: Consultant with 7+ years of experience on risk analytics with 4+ years of implementation of risk analytics using SPSS/SAS. He should be an expert on SPSS Modeler and SPSS Statistics. Knowledge of C&DS is preferable. He should be able to take up installation and configuration activities for SPSS.

Advanced skills in configuration, development and troubleshooting using SPSS suite of products esp Modeler and Statistics. Certifications in SPSS is an advantage.

Specific Predictive analytic skills required
Ability to define business problem and formulate solutions from Machine Learning domain including but not limited to - Classification, clustering, Regression , Nave Bayes , SVM , NNs
Statistical analysis on large quantities of data to interpret patterns, trend and probabilities
Profiling, Segmentation and Customer Modeling (Retention, Cross-sell, up-sell)
Hands on experience building and refining analytical models on SPSS Modeler
Hands on experience on techniques to enhance and optimize execution speed of SPSS Modeler

Specific Product suite skills required
Well versed with features and limitations of nodes in SPSS Modeler
Working knowledge of SQL push back and in Database Mining
Working knowledge of exploratory data analysis & Data Interrogation using various features of SPSS Statistics including but not limited to Monte Carlo Simulation , Regression etc.
Additional good to have skills, in order of importance:
Expert on Installation and Configuration of SPSS products on multi-tier architecture on a variety of platforms including but not limited to Windows, Linux and AIX.
Creation / Configuration / Scheduling / Administration of Jobs and users using CADS
Excellent Pl/Sql knowledge against at least one db
Good knowledge of Data Warehousing principles
