1. Should be well versed with Cognos architecture and must have idea about Support projects. Platform support experience will be added advantage.
2. Understanding of platform support environment and also platform engineering Installations of Cognos application, Server setup, Server decommissioning etc
3. Team handling experience in a multi geographical environment.
4. Prior experience in handling multiple stake holders.
5. Customer handling. Need to communicate directly with customers to address their concerns.
6. People management experience is required
7. Capacity planning, resource utilization, resource rotation, back up planning experience required.
8. Managing a 24x7 team and SLA adherence
9. Cognos SDK or scripting knowledge will be a plus point
Qualifications Minimum 8 years experience with BI tools Cognos, Cognos TM1, Cognos Data Manager & Tableau, data warehouses Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata and ETL Informatica Minimum 7 years experience of demonstrated strength in IT project management, requirements gathering and business analysis Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple groups and levels in organization Bachelors in Computer Science, MIS or related degree
