Job Description

Job description:

o Extensive knowledge in installing, configuring, and supporting SharePoint 2013 and 2010 farms environment.
o Extensive experience implementing different authentication types in SharePoint 2010/2013 like Kerberos, Forms-based and SAML Claims based.
o Extensive experience in migrating SharePoint web applications and content databases from 2010 to 2013.
o Experience with DocAve or similar tool for SharePoint backup, replication and migration.
o Extensive experience handling export/import, backup/restore of SharePoint Farm, Site Collections and Sites.
o Extensive experience using PowerShell.
o Extensive experience with PowerPivot, Excel Services and Office Web Apps.
o Extensive experience with third party solutions like Bamboo, Nintex, Layer 2,Collabion Charts and Kwizcom.
o Experience in disaster and backup and recovery of SharePoint.
o Excellent problem solving, design and debugging skills.
o Analyze and maintain operational metrics for trending and recommendations.
o Analyze performance data to ensure optimal use of resources available.
o Windows Server administration experience including Windows 2008/2012.
o Strong knowledge of SQL Server 2008/2012.
o Strong knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, Site Minder, DNS, Networking,Load balancers and security principles.
o Extensive knowledge and skills in troubleshooting and tools.
o Knowledge of VMware and Cloud infrastructures.
o Extensive knowledge in installing, configuring, and supporting .Net and Cold Fusion applications in Microsoft IIS web farm environment.
o Strong communication and inter personal skills.
o Experience in installing, configuring and supporting COTS applications in.NET platform.
o Experience in installing, configuring and supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
o Experience in installing, configuring and supporting Crystal Reports Server is a plus.

Duties and Account-abilities:

o Manage, administer, maintain and support MS Share Point farm, IIS web servers and Cold Fusion Application Servers.
o Work with the development teams to test, and deploy solution configurations on the Microsoft Windows platform.
o Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution.
o Identify and manage dependencies with other systems and elements of the IT infrastructure.
o Help the project or program team prepare for milestones.
o Ensure developed applications and systems are transitioned to customers in a timely manner.
o Export/import, backup/restore Share Point Farm, Site Collections, and Sites as needed.
o New assignments in addition to the tasks mentioned above.


o Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Software, or other related field, or the equivalent experience.
o Strong production experience in managing SharePoint infrastructure in a Farm.
o Minimum of seven years of work related experience with Microsoft Windows Share Point technologies.
o Microsoft certifications: MCSA/MCSE are a plus.
o Proven work experience in enterprise level application deployment and design.
o In depth understanding of Microsoft .Net suite of products and SharePoint services along with Active Directory Federation Services.
