Job Description


We are seeking a contracts administrator with previous experience supporting downstream projects related to refinery and/or plant work. Large capital project experience is a plus but not required. Other experience needed for this position is as follows:
*The suitable candidate will have 3-5 years experience with supporting or leading project contracting strategies and bid package development. This includes managing the bid cycle and contract award process.
*Experience in contractor prequalification, post job contractor evaluations and contractor safety orientation as well as manage the interface between the contractors, legal, sourcing, HSSE, accounts payable, tax the project process and any other party.
*Any contract alterations in co-ordination with Construction and Project Engineering and adhering to standards throughout the whole process.
*3-5 years experience with Contracting, financial controls, construction, maintenance and temporary staffing.
*Experience using a Purchasing system.


Previous experience working as a subcontracts administrator, preferably more than 3 years
Experience supporting on a downstream project of some sort. This is important as the client would like for the position to understand specific language and terminology that will be used in the contracts process due to the type of work being executed.
Ability to work overtime as needed for the project.
