Job Description

Objective: This role has been created to effect transformation of the human resources to meet current challenges faced by the HR and to sync all departments, processes and systems to the vision of the Group.

Reporting to: The Group CMD

Challenges:

Increasing fluidity of global labor markets, shifting workforce demographics, changes in Roles at leadership levels, are all making it difficult to attract, engage and retain critical talent that would create the crucial value within the Group.
To build a talent-powered organisation that sustains and builds all the skills and competencies needed to compete from the front.
Increasingly diverse technologies and remote & virtual workforces, with different attitudes to work across generations.
Integrate the talent management capabilities and align the same with Group's business strategy and operations, towards creating a distinctive Organisational Capability and sources of lasting competitive advantage


Key Result Areas:

Diagnostic of the needs, gaps and requirements and creating the restructured path of change, growth and development.
Advising the business heads, department heads and function heads on the long term perspective.
Heading and leading the HR.
Recommending changes, solutions and plans to the peer committees of management keeping in mind the present and future needs.


Key Activities

Heading global HR.
Effective and coherent cross-divisional OE/OD planning for India and global markets.
Lending consultative expertise to all the peer committees, Business Heads, Departments and Functional Heads.
Planning the Talent and Organisation Capability Resources.
Planning, Designing, structuring and implementing PMS that would sustain and justifiably harness talent.
Consistent C&B strategy.
Creating intensive levels of employee engagement.
Creating effective systems and processes towards employee retention and talent acquisition.
Handling grievances,issues, complaints and misdemeanor at the top level.
Responsible for the IR strategy and handling IR issues globally.


MBA HR from one of the top ten business schools in India, with a distinguished and performance-demonstrated experience of a minimum of 20 years, preferably from manufacturing background.
Must be heading HR, in the present assignment, of an organization with annual top lines exceeding Rs.1000 Crores.
Must recognize and understand the critical components of business strategy, thinking through talent, organizational implications and options.
Must be a key enabler in the organizational context.
Should be able to guide and handle diversity and teams across geography, cultures, attitude and generations.
