As an Oracle Middleware Engineer , you must have in-depth knowledge and rich hands-on experience with Oracle Middleware and Web Services Technologies with a proven leadership skills and ability to lead on critical technical issue and achieve the desired results. You will be single point of contact for all Oracle Middleware and Web Services related Development and Technical Support issues.
As a member of the Multifonds Middleware and Web Services Development Group, your responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
Installation, configuration and tuning of Weblogic Server & Oracle SOA Suite. Versions 10g & 11g. Experience on Windows & REHL will be preferred.
Good hands on experience in Development of Webservices & applications using ADF on Jdeveloper.
Co-ordination with Oracle Support: Raising Service Request & following up with Oracle Support Team for critical Middleware Issues Development & Production.
Create Scripts for Automated Creation of weblogic Domains & deployment of EARs. Prior experience on Python, PERL will be preferred.
High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for Middleware.
Performance Tuning of Oracle Weblogic Server, SOA Suite for optimized throughput. Develops standards and tuning metrics and alert thresholds.
Application Development Experience on JDeveloper ,Java, JAX, especially BPEL, Webservices & ADF will be preferred.
Prepare a complete set of Middleware Installation documentation.
Attend Oracle trainings & Seminars and gather latest best Oracle Middleware practices and trends.
Test & evaluate new Oracle release and patches related only to Oracle MW components (WebLogic)
Desired Profile :
A Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent stream with 7 - 12 years of proven experience in managing technology projects
Rich hands-on experience with at least one Full Life Cycle project adhering to Software Development Life Cycle procedures (Requirements Gathering, Requirements Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Production Deployment and Maintenance Support)
Very Good Knowledge of Oracle Middleware Architecture, Weblogic Server with strong hands-on development experience and ability to install, configure, optimize and maintain the Oracle Middleware environment
Very Good hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Oracle SOA Suite (including Oracle BPEL Manager), ADF, JDeveloper, IDM, XSL, XSLT processor(s), XML, XML Schemas, JMS, JAX,Web Services standards, SOAP, WSDL, Web Services Security
Very Good Knowledge of Forms & Reports technology
Very Good Knowledge of Windows 64 bits operating system (Red Hat Linux would be a plus)
Very Good Knowledge of scripting language like Perl
Strong Knowledge of Oracle Database (11g) with strong hands-on working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL
Preferably Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) in Weblogic Server
Ability to communicate in an international business environment with excellent spoken and written English level
An independent and strong team player with the ability to mentor and guide the team
