Job Description

1. The incumbent is to be familiar with Steel Plant equipments like Blast Furnace Equipment, Sinter Plant Equipment, Coke Dry Quenching Plant , Rolling Stack ,Pusher Car, Guide Car, Laddle and good rapport with private and public sector steel Plants across the country.

2. The prospecting candidate should meet with customers and explain technical products and services with the goal of showing these customers how the products and services can be useful.

3. Capability to give expert advice and guide when products need repairs or up gradation .

4. During the production process, the candidate has to serve as an intermediary between the production engineers and the customers, using customer knowledge to design products in a way most suitable to the customers.

5. Able to Participate in the processes like estimation, tendering, participating in tendering process, giving presentation to prospective customers etc.

6. Attend to grievances of customer on technical issues of the product and accordingly, make amendments in product features.

7. Prepare marketing strategies and policies for promotional activities to give the product a competitive edge over other products in the market.

8. Conduct quality assurance tests of the product to determine its compliance with organization's policies and consumer expectations.

9. Performed various duties for efficient working of the sales staff like supervising the work of sales staff at various levels, setting targets for them, evaluating their performance and training them from time to time.
