Job Description

    1. Lead the application design of Hydraulic Foundation, actuation and parking brake system Brake performance calculation, Aggregate development/ selection; Brake regulations.
    2. Making the concept of designs, Design validation plans of Hydraulic brake systems.
    3. Lead the hydraulic group & projects.
    4. To handle the problem solving of (i) Brake performance testing on vehicle (ii) Rig testing of brake aggregates.
    5. CAE analysis of brake structural components, thermal analysis of brake heat transfer.
    6. Managing a team of 3 to 5 engineers for brake system development and design release activities.
    7. Technical discussion with CFT & suppliers and preparation of business case
    8. Technology road map Future product strategy, Understanding & predicting new technology & trends
    9. Activities for new product development - starting from concept to production & support to drive overall strategy for system, process and capabilities development.
    10. Vendor visits to support development.
    11. Attend the customer and field problems.
    12. Design and development of hydraulic system & subsystem for tractor & Backhoe:
    • Tractor hitch control system
    • Trailer brake, Wet Clutch & Hydraulic assisted brake system
    • Electro hydraulic
    • Reservoir, Plumbing
    • Hydrostatic steering system
        1. Candidate must have BE Full Time degree with minimum of 7 to 20 years of experience in Hydraulic Brakes design.
        2. Ideal candidate would have proven track record of setting up design and development for an Auto OEM / Tier -1 Supplier.
        3. Hands on experience in hydraulic brakes design from automobile companies are Preferred.
        4. Must have experience in brake aggregates function.
        5. Should handle the brake performance calculation and regulation.
        6. To handle the brake testing.
        7. Should handle the CAE analysis of brake structural components and thermal analysis of brake heat transfer.
        8. To take care the preparation of business case.
        9. To managing a team of 3 to 5 engineers for brake system development and design release activities.
