Manage and develop people
o Be an effective manager by empowering, monitoring, coaching and motivating the individuals in the teams
o Identify development opportunities and training needs for high performing managers
o In addition to technical training, identify non-technical training needs such as how to handle difficult clients, decision making, people issues etc.
o Conduct assurance team performance reviews, serve as a positive leader and mentor, and contribute to Insurance team performance
Manage business and clients
o Develop/maintain strong relationship network with key decision makers in the Insurance sector.
o Actively support the Sector agenda both in terms of growth and quality initiatives (e.g. improvement of service delivery, standardization projects, new solutions etc.)
o Enhance connectivity between India teams and relevant counterpart onshore and leverage good connections to identify more opportunities for work.
o Actively support the communication agenda for the Insurance sector.
o Support the Segment Leader in preparing planning including annual growth, resource and activity plan.
o Monitor KPIs (growth, quality feedback, utilisation, Q&RM compliance, attrition etc.) for the teams under supervision and take appropriate action where required
Manage quality of service delivery
o Identify sector specific training needs and review/update current curriculum
o Assist in organising and providing technical training(both Sector and audit methodology)
o Assist in addressing service delivery quality issuesif and when they occur
o Support Exceptional Service delivery action programs
o Establish a practice of best practice sharing within the Insurance Segment teams
To qualify, candidates must have:
Qualified Auditor in Home country (CPA, CA or equivalent qualification)
Approximately 10+ years of audit experience within Big 4 accounting firms. International assignment of 2+ year will be an added advantage
Specialization on Insurance audits with specific focus on Property & Casualty and Life/Health insurance
Excellent project and people management skills
